Casemet´s Chairman of the Board Jukka Kokkonen receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Casemet Group Chairman of the Board Jukka Kokkonen received Plootu Lifetime Achievement Award from the Sheet Metal Products Industry Group of the Finnish Technology Industries. The award was presented to Jukka at the Sheet Metal Days in April, which is the most significant professional event in the sheet metal industry in Finland. Plootu is the industry group's recognition of an individual or community who has made a significant contribution to the sheet metal industry. Jukka has had a long career as an entrepreneur and has been actively involved in developing the operations of sheet metal companies.

Jukka Kokkonen has been the CEO of Casemet since the company was founded in 2016 until 2024. Entrepreneurship and the sheet metal industry have been closely intertwined in Jukka's journey since the 1990s, when he founded his first company, JK Tools. In 2011, he acquired Mikemet Oy with his partners, and shortly after, in 2016, Casemet Oy was founded with the acquisition of Ensto's Mikkeli factory. Mikemet was later merged into Casemet.

Casemet's growth story is significant to Jukka in many ways. “Casemet’s development and growth have been one of the best things in my career. We have been able to innovate, expand and create new jobs,” says Jukka.

“Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award feels great. The fact that the award is given by top experts in their field is especially heartwarming,” says Jukka. “I am also very happy that I have been able to do many things in my career and be involved in very different projects. I have been able to see a great cross-section of the industry, which is valuable in itself,” continues Jukka.

For over a year, Jukka has served as the Chairman of the Board of Casemet Group. “In this role, I now get to look at things from a new perspective. I am excited to follow Casemet’s development,” summarizes Jukka.
